Day 5: Rain rain go away!

Torrential rain and strong winds kept us from hiking the planned 8 miles today for safety.  And to be honest, if it was Florida warm rain I think it would’ve been fine, but this was cold windy rain.

Big part of this trip was I had wanted to make sure we covered Matthew‘s Arm trail (the AT calls it Mathew’s Arm). We went to Matthew’s Arm campground and hung out a bit at campsite number A26 in honor of his birthday.
